Job Description

Finance Process and Operations professionals develop and maintain robust processes and controls to meet compliance requirements and stewardship of enterprise assets with efficiency and effectiveness.

Real Estate Solutions professionals assist clients to leverage real estate as a tool of organizational performance supporting their broader business strategy and aligning with their finance, human resources, IT strategies and objectives.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.

Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments .

Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.

Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience working in various areas of Corporate Real Estate with emphasis on consulting
  • Strong Financial Analysis skills applicable to Real Estate (Discounted Cash Flow Analysis, Occupancy Expense projections, Total Costs of Ownership, and Total Costs of Carry)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex data sets with an intuitive sense of financial and operational implications.  Strong Business Case development skillset.
  • Strong ability to lead Project teams with multiple direct reports
  • Foundational knowledge of Real Estate Capital & Op Ex Planning for real estate portfolios across all industry sectors
  • High Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project.  Proficiency in Tableau, Access, and ESRI.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 80%  

Preferred Requirements:

·         Advanced degree or Certification in Business / Real Estate (i.e. MCR, MBA, CCIM, PMP, etc.)

·         Consulting and Industry Experience in CRE function or with CRE Service Provider

·         Knowledge of Real Estate IWMS systems and other real estate technology platforms

·         General knowledge of FASB Real Estate Accounting Requirements

·         Minimum of 5 – 7 years of Consulting / Client Relationship Management experience

·         Extensive knowledge of Real Estate Capital & Op Ex Planning processes

·         Minimum of 3- 5 years leading project teams and managing CRE organizational transformations
