Job Description

The Software Product Technology Architect manages the regulatory requirements and other business needs for stakeholder.  Designs, develops and implements the Accenture Life Insurance Platform which provide Life Insurers with a full spectrum of processing capabilities, from front office sales and underwriting to back office policy administration.


  • Help manage and oversee the technology and architectural evolution of the Accenture Life Insurance Platform ALIP to continuously improve marketability, lower implementation costs and address industry needs.
  • Work with ALIP clients to define and customize architecture and solutions for non functional requirements like security, operability, scalability, maintainability and integration.
  • Act as part of a tiger team to help resolve technical issues or develop needed solutions rapidly. Assist pre sales with technical marketing material and responses.
  • Lead technical architecture discussions with prospects.
  • Participate in the proposal, definition and development of technical demonstrations and proof of concept projects to push the technology and architecture of ALIP forward and to foster market interest.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the IT management consulting industry or life insurance industry
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with software applications and software development in financial services
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting requirements gathering and analysis to support financial services system implementations
  • Bachelor s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration
