Organization & Change

  • Leadership Development – Making sure our client’s leadership team understands the needs of their employees and what they value and are advocates of talent and organization programs
  • Change Management Implementing the process, tools and techniques needed to manage the people side of change to achieve the required business outcomes

Your Role

This Consultant role is aligned to our Resources Operating Group. The work will be primarily focused on analyzing, architecting and executing organizational change programs and initiatives to help achieve a client's organization wide growth, optimization or reinvention journey. T&O Change Management Consultant

A Consultant within Accenture’s Talent & Organization practice has the following responsibilities:

  • Familiar with talent and human capital strategies, talent development, talent identification and definition, etc
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • Effectively leverages their direct Accenture supervisor to help mitigate risks and resolve complex challenges before they become issues.
  • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems..
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of external consulting experience or other relevant experience related to successful delivery of change management work in the disciplines of change management methodology, job/role/organization design, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship alignment, marketing or communication, training/performance support, organizational readiness, or transition to outsourcing

• Minimum 3 years of experience related to successful delivery of change management work in one or more of the following areas:

o Change Management Methodology

o Strategic Communications

o Stakeholder Engagement

o Organization Design

o Training and Performance Support

o Business/Organizational Readiness

o Adoption/Change Measurement

o Leadership Alignment

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%

Professional Qualifications:

• Ability to develop trusted client relationships

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)

• Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

Preferred Skills

• Prior consulting experience

Prefer 2+ years working experience in Human Resource consulting field with a management consulting firm

• Large-scale and/or global transformation experience

• Project management experience, including project plan development and tracking - 3 YRS CON

• Excellent leadership and management skills

• Understanding of and/or have experience with managing change in operational environments (manufacturing, plants, refining, drilling)

• Understanding of industry/workforce trends and drivers for Resources clients (Energy, Chemicals, Natural Resources, Utilities)

• Experience with Digital aspects and how to incorporate into Change Plans such as: Social, Media and Analytics
